Changes in Prices of Case Handling
If you receive compensation with the assistance of HSF from a case concerning industrial injury, holiday allowances etc. you will be charged a percentage of the gross payment. As a rule, HSF will charge you 5 %. However, if the extent of the case demands extra resources a higher percentage may be charged. The percentage is only charged from the compensation given by the National Board of Industrial Injuries, not from any compensation given by a private insurance company.
You will, of course, be informed prior to receiving any counselling. We won’t start handling your case before you have given consent to be charged a certain percentage by HSF.
The main reason we charge our members in this manner is a change in procedure in the National Board of Industrial Injuries. Moreover, it is necessary in order to maintain the extent and quality of our counselling because the number of cases we handle for our members have increased significantly.
This principle only applies to cases accepted after July 1, 2011. In any other cases the member will not be charged a percentage of the compensation.
